Dawn Banks

Royal Horticultural Society and internationally respected Chelsea Physics Gardens trained, Dawn Banks, asked us to design and develop a website to, amongst other things, demonstrate her professional knowledge, design style, and present previously completed projects.

The project required that we demonstrate Dawn's creativity and flair, founded by her efficient and methodical process, and give her the tools to maintain all elements of the website. It needed to be simple, clear, ordered, super modern, elegant, sophisticated, but definitely not dainty.

The beautifully functional, grid-based, solid structured layout of the site, sits in harmony with the process driven side of her business, which we then wrapped in blocks of wonderfully vibrant colours to demonstrate her creativity.

We also installed the fantastic ExpressionEngine, simply the best and most user-friendly CMS we've ever come across, to enable Dawn to have complete control over all aspects of her website. One of the many fantastic parts to ExpressionEngine is that we can remove all superfluous elements, so that Dawn only had the bare essential tools necessary to edit the site, so that making updates is always a simple, straighforward affair.

Since launch, the site has been receiving high praise, but most importantly, bringing in new business and enquiries. We are also entering a phase two of development to build in a new feature and also to create a mobile specific version.
